Staying At Top

Lust (Kaam)
Lust is deep hunger for any object which results from over-attachment. People at the top level are carried away by the lust of power. That is why it is recommended that they should identify the new leaders and train them. Leaders should slowly identify the new leaders and train them. Leaders should evolve into mentors guiding the new generation to take over.

Anger (Krodha)
Maintaining a cool head is very essential. A short tempered leader is neither appreciated nor liked by his team members. Such a person is very unpredictable. One should be able to control oneself in all circumstances, mostly importantly in public.

Greed (Lobha)
Gandhiji had rightly said, “There is enough in this world for every person’s need but not enough for one man’s greed.” Satisfaction does not mean complacency. One should be dynamic, yet not carried away by purely material gains. He should also focus on the social and spiritual contribution he can make.

Pride (Mana)
Even when at the top, a leader should be able to initiate more and more projects. However feeling that “I am the doer” should not be entertained. He should understand that, after all, his success is because of teamwork. A highly egoistic leader is sure to lose his team member in the long run.

Arrogance (Madh)
An arrogant leader will always take the credit for every success, while he blames failure on others. Instead, he should share the success with everyone. His motto should be , “ It is ‘we’ who have succeeded not ‘I’.

Over-Excitement (Harsha)
A leader should never get over-excited. Expressing extreme happiness or sadness has to be avoided. When world is on fire the only one with balanced mind can find a solution. This is the duty of leader.

Has our attitude changed..........................

I was going through the news of gang rap in Pune in a TV News channel.........................The thought that struck me was HAS OUR ATTITUDE CHANGED.........................

Have we become so materialistic that we cannot give the respect to the person he/she deserves.?
Do we live to fulfill our requirements?? Dont we have any moral responsibility?Has the word TRUST lost it all values or has trust been bought by the desire of lust and money?

We blame the system for all this but let me know aren't we responsible for our self restrain and self control...do we need anyone to always master our action and thoughts................Why are we than God's most intelligent creation ...Human Beings!

R The rules of living changing...........

With the word modernization and urbanization have we become more materialistic then spiritual.

Every one is talking in terms of investments and returns..There used to be a beautiful word called Charity for the welfare of poor and needy. This charity was not the part of show biz it was from the heart.

A person earning 100 bucks and giving 10 out of them to welfare of poor and needy is charity. Today organizing big big events and contributing the surplus amount after deducting the cost behind the event and profit to the organizer remaining 2-3% is contributed to charity.
